To clarify I read somewhere that always choosing boys first (if we had the choice) would have social consequences as well--if nearly every family was boy then girl.

My friend has a girl and she wanted a girl. I asked her how she would feel if her next kid was another girl and she said that's what she wanted. If I got a boy I wouldn't even know what to do with it. I'd be like "take it back." Confused
