I was thinking about trying one.
I may have to re-evaluate my thoughts about using those.
A lot of sulfate free poos will make your hair hard b/c they don't have all the extra stuff that is in chemically laden poos. For about 2 years I was using design essentials moisturizing poo b/c it left my hair feeling soft and not stripped at all, but for a while, I realize my hair was shedding too much when I was washing it and couldn't figure out why, it just dawned on me last week that it was probably using poos w/ sulfates and extra stuff in it. Sometimes, a lot of these hair products make your feel good to the touch, but overtime it really isn't doing anything to help your hair. I didn't purposely go on a 'natural hair product kick' .. it was something that dawned on me after being on the boards for YEARS... I realized that a ton of conditioners didn't work for me, and if they did, they'd stop working pretty quickly. I realized that Elucence and Kenra always worked, and I couldn't figure out why at all. It really just dawned on me like a little over a year ago that my hair probably doesn't like cones and all that extra shyt in products. I started buying Giovanni conditioners and realized how much my hair agreed with it.  All the drugstore raves don't work for me except Tressemee naturals conditioner and Suave coconut. I will never ever stop using natural type/ cone free products b/c they really do agree w/ my hair eventhough I'm relaxed. The only product I use w/ extra stuff in it is Nexuss Emergencee and that's b/c I feel my hair needs to protein every so often.

Also, you'll notice that sulfate free poos work very well w/ natural type conditioners, so while the shampoo may leave your hair feeling a bit rougher than you are used to, once that conditioner hits your hair, BAM ! All is well LOL.

^^^ I agree,  I use Mills Creek Henna shampoo and conditioner and I saw a difference in my hair immediately, I will always have this in my house.  I get this at my local vitiam store.

I've been using this lately and love the results.  I got mine from Whole Body (Whole Foods). Yesterday I found out Giovanni products are sold here at the local Wal-Mart!!!ClapClapClap

Okay, hands down - Fekkai.  It is a little $$$, but if you are feeling like splurging, try their shea butter line poo.

i still think that organix is good too.
