I will say this post did remind me of the Murda Mook (black guy) vs Iron Solomon (white guy) rap battle from last year. around 30 minutes
He is a corny white boy but he raps with black swag
So we give him more credit, cuz for a white guy, he ain't half bad
It's like a white guy that gets on the court
mouth guard, arm bands, head bands, and some tight ass shorts
immediately you write him off like "sh*t ain't no one else in the stands?"
"well eff it we gotta pick him, we got 9, we need a tenth man"
So they finally pass it to him like "lets see what he can do"
They not expecting much, at best they think he can probably shoot
The Brotha starts guarding him, taunting him, c'mon white boy show me how you hoop
white boy does a show, give and go, then catches the alley oop
we like "OOOOO", white boy got game, see it's a shame
let me explain how this story and his story are one in the same
and how the color of his skin dictates the amount of credit he gets
cuz the very next play, a black dude did the same thing and it was just regular sh*t

there isn't any real praise in this thread...
I see a bunch if casual acknowledgment for it being "cute" at best.
also this (situation in which white person gets praise or prompts discussion for doing something blavk people do daily) isn't purely a racial thing. yes race is a prominent factor but... a video titled gabby Douglas does a split isn't gonna attract the same attention as gabby sibide does a split.
same concept also at work in situations like these.
