Start your day with God by knowing that God must be first in your life.  From your early rising until the going down of the sun, the Lord Jesus Christ must be first and foremost in and around you and your dwelling.  The priority in your life must be centered upon your relationship with God.  Get to know Him as Lord and make it personal.  Don’t wait nor should you tarry, just believe that God can do all things in your life and reveal unto you what it is you need to be doing in life.  Don’t hold back and don’t be afraid of what is before you.  Come clean before God and receive your righteous reward as God becomes your number 1 priority.
So be encouraged this morning and make God a priority in your life, He deserves it and more.

“I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last (the Before all and the End of all).  (Rev 22:13 AMP)

Challenge of the day:  Who is like God?  No one and no thing? God IS all that you need, and He has every basis covered in your life.   So why not make God a priority in your life and receive Him first and get to know who you are through Jesus Christ with the power and love of His word.

Putting God First in Your Priorities

By Joyce Meyer, Christian Post Guest Columnist

There are so many things that clamor for our attention and devotion: our jobs, our kids, our spouses, our hobbies-the demands and distractions of life. And we have to be careful not to let them become more important or more of a priority than our relationship with God.

The first of the Ten Commandments states we will have no other gods before Him (see Exodus 20:3). And Deuteronomy 5:8-9 (NLT) says, "You must not make for yourself an idol of any kind, or an image of anything in the heavens or on the earth or in the sea. You must not bow down to them or worship them".

Yet how many of the things that occupy our time, money, thoughts and attention have taken the place where God is supposed to be? Anything can become a god to us-anything we worship or put an excessive amount of time into. Even your feelings can become a god if you allow them to control you. We need to ask ourselves, "Am I bowing down to God and His Word or to my feelings?"

Another challenge we have to confront is living in a world full of humanism and people not wanting God and His Truth to interfere with their lives and routines. It seems we have an epidemic of selfishness in our world today, and this creates all kinds of unhealthy situations. For example, when people refuse to honor God and follow His wisdom in their decisions, it causes them to become bogged down with worry, resentment and bitterness. Eventually it shows up as sickness and disease in their bodies. And in our culture, this behavior causes a decline in our moral standards and attitudes.

But the good news is, we don't have to settle for this way of living. In Christ, we can enjoy our lives-abundantly! (See John 10:10.)

How to Establish the Habit of Living for God

The key to having God's "abundant life"-His love, peace and joy-is keeping Him in His rightful place in our priorities. God said to Abraham, "Walk and live habitually before Me and be perfect (blameless, wholehearted, complete)" (Genesis 17:1 AMP). Notice that God instructed Abraham to be habitual in walking with Him and living for Him. We can do this by establishing daily habits of prayer, worship and regular, consistent time spent in His Word.

I love the Word of God! It is amazing. It contains wisdom, encouragement, comfort and inspiration for every conceivable human problem or dilemma. His Word brings peace and stability to our spirits and it will renew our minds (see Romans 12:2). Get excited about getting into the Bible!

The Benefits of Keeping God First

Make it your goal to have a deep, intimate relationship with God. Let Him into every area of your life. If you constantly look to other people for answers and validation, pray about this and ask the Lord to help you stop doing that and instead look to Him. First Thessalonians 2:4 (AMP) says, "We speak not to please men but to please God."

As we live to please God, He promises to bless our lives and make us prosper. The Bible says in Psalm 1:3 (AMP) that the man who walks and lives in God's ways is "like a tree firmly planted [and tended] by the streams of water, ready to bring forth its fruit in its season; its leaf also shall not fade or wither; and everything he does shall prosper [and come to maturity]."

When you decide to serve God with your whole heart and make Him first in your life, your soul will prosper and your joy and peace will increase. Remember to lean on Him more than anything else, and tell Him, "God, I want to do this, but I can't do it without You." He doesn't expect you to live for Him in your own strength or ability, and He understands when you make mistakes. So if you mess up, don't give in to discouragement and let it hold you back; confess it and keep going. He will give you grace to do what you need to do. One day at a time you and God together can do anything!

What Does It Mean to Put God First?

It's a cliché we hear all the time, but what would it look like if we actually did it?

By

Imagine a typical day for a twentysomething Christian. She wakes up to her ringtone alarm, checks her email and notifications and hits snooze. She utters a one-minute prayer to cover all her bases—thank You, bless this, ask for that, amen—and rushes to the shower.

By 9 a.m., she's clocked into work at the office or heading to class, praying for the weekend to come sooner. And from then until she hits the pillow, her day is filled with meeting deadlines, doing chores and errands and generally trying to keep on top of things before another day is over.

The question is, where should we put God in the equation?

As Christians, we know at a head level that God should take first priority in our lives. He comes first, and everything else is secondary. And even thinking of Christ as a “priority” doesn't come close to the reality that He is King—over every detail of our daily lives. Yet how often is He our waking thought each morning? How often do we reach for our phones instead?

More often, we expect God to mold into our own lives and schedules. It's no longer us who need to adapt to His ways.

Why is it that it’s only when something’s gone wrong—or there’s nothing else to do—that we finally turn to God?

We might then wait for His answers, but not for long. Unconsciously, we give Him a deadline. It’s difficult for us to put our faster-is-better mentality on hold while we wait for God's guidance. The best time to do anything is now, so why wait—right?

Perhaps it’s time we readjust our faith from turning to God only when it’s convenient to recovering our lost fear of the Lord. We show Him we don't fear Him every time we prioritize other things first.

So, how do we recover a lost fear of the Lord? By seeking Him. By intentionally pursuing Him first in our daily actions—from the moment our alarm goes off until we fall asleep again. By praying and asking for His guidance not only when things go wrong, but on every occasion. By encountering Him through His Word and listening to how He wants us to live it every day.

God is not a back-up plan but the Planner of life itself. And as we slowly change our daily habits to recognize this, we will slowly reshape our priorities and recharge our faith.

Love God in your worship in your mind and heart.

Good morning Sisters and Brothers,

I pray that all is well with you and your family. Start your day with GOD by having your mind focus on Him. This is not the time to slip away, this is the time to regain strength and courage to go out and do the work of The Lord Jesus Christ. “With this in mind, we constantly pray for you, that our God may make you worthy of his calling, and that by his power he may bring to fruition your every desire for goodness and your every deed prompted by faith.” (2 Thessalonians 1:11 BOOKS) So be encouraged this morning and allow your mind to cause you to pray.

Challenge of the day: Prove your love by your worship, starting in your mind and heart.”However, as it is written: “What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived” — the things God has prepared for those who love him”— (1 Corinthians 2:9 BOOKS)

WORSHIP GOD NOW!

Good Morning Brothers and Sisters,

I pray that all is well with you and your household. Start your day with God by having a heart to worship God at all times. There is no specific place you should have your private worship with God, just as long as you worship in spirit and in truth. Get before God and show Him how grateful you are for allowing you to have another chance at life with Jesus Christ.
For God is Spirit, so those who worship him must worship in spirit and in truth.” (John 4:24 NLT) So be encouraged this morning and find time to worship God and bless His Holy name.

Challenge of the day: Worship God like never before. Now is the time to come before The Lord our God. Don’t wait nor hesitate come now before Him. “Come, let us worship and bow down. Let us kneel before the Lord our maker, for he is our God. We are the people he watches over, the flock under his care. If only you would listen to his voice today!” (Psalms 95:6, 7 NLT)

To God Be the Glory and Many Blessings
