That sucks Brie,
I also placed an order last week with HD, but I received an email confirmation within 24 hrs letting me know that my order had been shipped. I think I may have used Pervana in the past, probably for tape.

@Chatnoir Tell me about it! ..But I will order from HairDirect in the future, only because they're cheaper. I just dont think luck wasnt on my side with HairDirect my first experience and I was also in a rush to receive the product so I'm gonna give them the benefit of doubt.

..Okay, So I finally got my frontal install, and the work looks beautiful but however, I dont think frontals and lace fronts are for me because I'm having the hardest time with trying to maintain the Ghost Bond to stick ..It has not even been a full whole week since I've got my frontal installed and the perimeter of my hairline is already lifting and being exposed. I honestly feel like I blew $565 for the install, but I'm not sure if it's due to my EXTREMELY oily skin. ..my skin secrete oil like crazy, so I dont put NOTHING on my face after I wash with my cetaphil cleanser and by 11am in the morning you could swear that I put vaseline and baby oil gel on my face, at the same damn time because its sooo greasy looking. ..Going forward, I dont believe Ghost Bond works well with extremely oily skin.

Just applied my unit with ghost bond. I have absolutely no idea how it will hold up but I love the ease of this application. I will be very happy with a week hold which I can normally get with most glues.

As I've been wearing the ghost bond for a weeks now, I've been kinda getting the hang of things, I have not gone back to the shop for a lace frontal refresher in awhile.. But its pretty messy.. But things will get better in time, the more I play with it.

I was in pre-moving day h*ll at the time of your post :) . Try chromedome's tip, which is to prepare your front perimeter with baking soda paste (do a search). This should help.

You're welcome, and thanks! I didn't have time to write much as I was on my phone. The baking soda paste tip really works for me (I have T-zone, so my forehead, nose, and chin tends to be on the oily side).

I tried to look for this baking soda tip couldn't find it. Is it just baking soda and water? Do you still clean your perimeter with alcohol as well? I can't get ghostbond to hold more than a day for me. On a brighter note I was able to get the got2be glue to work but I had to use the ultra glued with the freeze spray.

Hi Yaya - skip the alcohol - no bueno w/Ghostbond. Mix a bit of
baking soda with a teeny bit of water to make a paste, and then go over
your perimeter with it, rinse well and pat dry. The baking soda
paste is also great at removing GB residue from your skin. After
rinsing the GB off, I go over that area with a facial scrub, like St
Ives. To do an effective Google search on BHM or most any site, use this format:site:forum.blackhairmedia.com (xyz) where "xyz" is the term that you want to search, don't use parentheses so: site:forum.blackhairmedia.com chromedome baking soda http://bit.ly/Yakohy
