Hey ladies, I am so excited to finally getting around to posting these pics.
I have 3 bundles of Glamour House of Hair Allure in the lengths of 18",22",22" & a 14" Russian curly closure installed on a Japanese mesh swim cap. Each bundle is approximately 4 oz & I used every last bit of it on my wig. There are no clips combs or bobby pins on my wig. Its a perfect snug fit for me. I have not cut any of the bundles or colored them in any way. The hair color ranges from about a black to an off black. However I did have to dye the hair on the closure because it was more of a number 4, medium/dark brownish. I did not notice any loosening of the curl pattern in this process. All of my bundles have been sealed with HE101 weft sealer. I will say that even before sealing I had minimal shedding (less than 3 strands in the original cowashing process). Wefts are thin and strong, easily fold-able with the beards trimmed very closely to the weft. I almost didn't notice them.
I have been wearing the hair non stop for about 2 weeks now. Since the wig fits so perfectly I haven't had any need to take it off at night. It doesn't shift or move much so I just sleep with it on. In the two weeks that I have had this hair installed it has behaved wonderfully! I can run my fingers through it without getting a strand, but I don't do this often because this is curly hair & constantly doing such would disturb the curls. It is extremely soft & fluffy lots of movement & bounce. Absolutely NO NAPE tangling, matting, and bunching. No matter what I'm doing or how hot it is or what the hair rubs up against. At night I either put it in one big braid or I pineapple. In the morning I give the hair a few sprays of water if I notice any crushed curls & then go. My wig is placed behind the hairline, with the bare minimum of my edges out.
When I shampoo the hair I either use Kinky Curly Come Clean Shampoo or the Tresemme Naturals Shampoo in a black bottle. I have no preference, it is just a matter of which one is closest. I also use both of these products on my natural hair. For CoWashing I use the Tresemme Naturals Conditioner in the white bottle. It is my favorite conditioner for cowashing, provides plenty of slip & moisture. For deep Conditioning I use GVP Conditioning Balm, which is supposed to be the generic version of Matrix Biolage Conditioning Balm. I also use this in my natural hair. After cowashing or deep conditioning, while the hair is soaking wet I apply EDEN body works All natural curl defining creme and brush the product through the hair with my denman brush & let my wig hang dry. The curl pattern on Allure is so naturally tight that plopping is unnecessary, but if you want the pattern even tighter almost to the point that it resembles Flirt (Allure's tighter curled counterpart) then go ahead & plop.
My personal experience with GHOH has pretty much always been a positive one. I ordered my first 2 bundles when they had their introductory presale. The hair was much cheaper then & you were told it was going to have a long wait time. Which it did, right now I can't remember because that was back in Nov/Dec I think. My third bundle I purchased when GHOH randomly had some in stock so my order was shipped out within 3 business days. Some people have had serious trouble getting in contact with them but that has not been the case for me, I can only think of one time when they did not get back to me right away. When I ordered my closure from GHOH it did not ship out until 4 business days later & I was annoyed but before I could message GHOH she messaged me that she apologizes for the inconvenience and that she had shipped out my closure & overnighted it to me. I appreciated that 100% because I was so anxious to get this hair on my head.
And sure enough it arrived first thing in the morning the next day. (Well like noon, but that is my morning). The one and only drawback was that the Russian closures do not come with bleached knots but they are $145. $145 & you not bleaching knots????
Honestly I had ordered a dupe from a CV but the post office "lost", more like STOLE it & I didn't want to wait on the CV since they were in stock at GHOH. The density on the closure was absolutely perfect & needed no plucking at all.
I hope I covered everything & now will shut up & post pics.DAY 1 HAIR
: This is the hair fully dried with the curls completely defined. Its pretty but not my favorite way of wearing it.Closure shotDAY 2,3 HAIR
: The hair isn't as defined, its fluffed out & looks much more natural. Which is how I LOVE it.
