There is a black way of speaking though.
It's even been admissible in court.
There are anomalies though.
But even those high wheezing type voices I can tell if they are black.

Maybe there's a black american or southern way of speaking for black people which I still don't buy. And no that statement held no shade or condescension in it.
You speak the way the people in your surroundings speak. If you grew up around hood people you'll likely sound like a hood person. If you grew up around country people you'll likely sound country. if you grew up around people with french accents, you'll likely sound like that.
Most black women tend to have deeper voices than their white counter parts, or at least in my experience.
One of my best friends sound like a 8 year old girl. You can't tell whether she's black or white.
Yes, there are some people who you can tell off the bat are black or white, but there are many you can hence why I don't believe there is a black accent.

I still content that you can tell race by voice.
It's been proven and tested time and time again.

I didn't say that for your benefit jones. I knew you'd understand but there are others one here who might've thought I was saying it to be offensive so I put that disclaimer.

I don't disagree that you can tell what race some people are by voice but I believe there is a difference between being able to recognize someone's race by their voice and there being a set way a race of people sound. However, if there was one particular way of sounding for a race, all black people would sound that way. The fact there are many black people who don't sound that way is proof that there isn't a black, or 'insert any race' way of sounding.

Meh, but it's not a fact that black people sound a specific way since it can be consistently disproved(though it is a fact that many people think that black people sound a specific way).
