Blood clots in your head can be a result of head trauma (such as a concussion). I worry about blood clots, but I am glad she is ok.

a blood clot can lodge in your brain from elsewhere in the body and cause a stroke
but I'm not an expert

Yes, this happen also, but in Clinton's case and Natasha Richardson's case, the clot in the head was due to head trauma, aka a concussion.

I forgot BHM folks are sticklers for diction. Usually, most, and other such terms become points of contention,  so I will edit out those terms. That is kind of annoying.
