I've always wondered about honey.. So I would just mix it with oils?  and it won't leave my hair sticky?

I mix honey with my DC's and it never leaves my hair sticky (it rinses right out) and I've noticed that it makes my hair pretty shiny.

Maybe I am not buying the correct kind of honey, or maybe my hair does not prefer humecants, but honey and glycerin(and I bought the vegetable glyercin) and suave humectant do nothing for my hair.

<-How did you use it? Was it on wet or dry hair? As a pre conditioner or after washing? My hair is relaxed and it makes my hair softer and adds shine.

Never thought of adding honey to the hair but I do put some in my toner from time to time and it never leaves my face sticky.
