If I had the money to lose, I'd take a chance and try starting a magazine. Always wanted to as a kid. Most new mags fail. If the risk to me was minimal I'd go ahead and try it.

That or a book publishing company, featuring black writers.

I would start a scouting business.
Scouting young black bright minds and cultivate them and provide funding support for them for government positions.

My husband and I built a contracting firm...then sold it for even more money. Not really me but he used my money to start it up.

It has been extremely good to us!
