I have contacted hairbygynesis.com She is willing to come to Chicago if she has at least 8 clients. I'm thinking February for this. please pm me if interestested. if you are not familiar with her work, go on her website, youtube, facebook to see what she is about. plus, for her styles, you no longer have to use synthetic hair! let me know ASAP! Thank you!

Hi, I am schedule for gBraids next month. Im trying to decide what type of hair to purchase (human hair or synthetic). Have you had her treebraids before? If so, what type of hair did you use?

Thank you the quick reply. I'm nervous and excited about gbraids.
Would you happen to have a picture? How does the hair hold up after wash? All her styles are beautiful..too many to choose from.

hi. sorry it took me so long to reply. I chose not to use batik because i have in the past and it is truly beautiful at first but after a while it changes. i chose sensual collection bulk human hair in a body wave, so we will see how that works out.

Thank you! Do you mind sharing a picture? As I mentioned, I've never had tree braids before. I only found gynesis by doing a google search for "treebraids in Chicago". My cousin in Memphis is currently wearing them, but Gynesis looks way better. Did you get micro size? So sorry for the many questions. My appt is March 9th.

Mine is also on the 9th. I don't have any pics, they were done by an african shop before and to me they start really far back where about 2 inches of the cornrow is exposed. but i agree, gynesis' work is not like that. i have seen them and they are on point!
