Funny that Brothas love gays so much but gays didn't do ish for us when we were fighting for our rights. They were nowhere to be found

Amen. |
OR they were right there but you wouldn't know it because being gay was frowned upon. there have always been gay black people.

see the funny thing is I do believe everyone should have equal rights.. ( waits to be called out) However in my eyes gays can never marry because they will never fit the definition of marriage/husband/wife. "the state of being united to a person of the opposite
sex as husband or wife in a consensual and contractual relationship
recognized by law" they want to be together and have certain rights
that married heterosexual people have let them, just don't call it a
marriage. AND DON'T say its approved by God, because it is not!

Have read all of the new testament and up to 1st Samuel in the old. Yes believers need to pick up their bibles that they claim to base 100% of their faith on.
However we don't need to read the whole bible to know God disapproves of Homosexuality!

I actually have Bible in 1 year program |

jr | Actually they did. There were many homosexuals who fought for our rights. It's just that the majority of them did not mention their sexual orientation. Bacardi Rustin is one. There are a whole host of others.

i think all should be allowed the right to marry regardless of their sexuality. I just dont think its alright to force a church to do it. its opening a pandora's box of trouble. Telling the gov't. they dont have the right to regulate who you can and can't marry b/c thats a religious doctrine. but then telling the gov't to regulate marriages in churches by allowing anyone to get married. I think these two things need to be separate. Gov't needs to mind their own business in regards to who can "legally" be married. and then let the churches handle the rest.

That's a fair compromise IMO.

Are they forcing the church to do this? They seem to be swearing up and down that that is not their intention.

Do onto others as you would have them do onto you.....and all those other texts in the NT about the greatest commandment being love.
guess you missed that text this morning huh? | Aid and abet sin? Yes, I do remember Jesus commanding us to do that. It was in bright red, too jr.
