i'm going with the poster who said those names are probably popular in your area period. so it would also be popular among the gays.

all the gays i know have basic english names.

theory is flawed, the names are given at birth. Their parents don't know the baby's sexual orientation at birth.  So names have nothing to do with being gay.

Plus those are ghetto names. Idk anyone gay or straight with those names

It's like they have a certain ring to them. It's to the point where I hear a name and think off bat that there is a 75% chance that bruh is gay.

In my area, yes.
I am around a lot of gay men for business purposes and I swear that there is a disproportionate # of them here with names that sound like that Kimoraye, Jaquarius, Lamonte', etc and other names that force you to pucker up your lips/make your lips quiver when pronouncing them. Sometimes, I dont know if they are birth names or aliases b/c I cant imagine a mom selecting that for her son. Also, when I see American men with 2 last names hyphened, I wonder...such as John Davidson-Smith, etc b/c as time passes, the ones that I know with those names eventually come out. My friend is making a documentary on made up/non-traditional names and I am going to ask him about his findings on this. He is gay with an extra, unnecessary consonant in his first nameStern Smile

Girl South Beach/Miami Beach does have a strong gay presence and I would include Miami for the hell of it.  It's been a while since I have been down there.
