I have a few theories.
1) Misery loves company. They try to pull others down so they have someone else to fester with in their pool of misery
2) Some folks think happiness is a limited resource. Buddhists says that happiness does not decrease from being shared. But I guess some folks think that others are hogging all the happiness? Lol idk. It's a shame people have to be that way. Now if others try to pull me down I'd give em a swift kick to the jugular.
