I just recently read a thread where someone was ording a unit with swiss lace.  She was advised against purchasing a swiss lace, instead she was advised that she should purchase a french lace because it is more durable.  My question is what are the advantages of purchasing a swiss lace.  If it is that fragile, why purchase it?  I wear a french lace, but the new unit that i'm consering purchasing is a swiss.  What are the advantages of buying swiss?  Are the less detectable?

French lace is recommended for newbies since it is more durable compared to swiss. I just ordered my first swiss lace unit because it is suppose to be a finer, less detectable lace.

I'd image if it is a custom unit and the measurements are on point, there will be little pulling and little reason to worry about tearing the lace.

I started off with french lace when I was a newbie then I graduated to swiss lace.  The swiss lace seems to be finer to me and less detectable.  For now I am sticking with swiss lace because in my personal opinion it does look better.

But is it that different? because i think that my swiss lace is not that "undetectable", so if French lace is worst I'm scared!!!!Confused

I believe that was my post your were speaking about. They are right about newbies ordering french lace, but since I am not anymore, im going to graduate to swiss. I have to learn someway or another on how to handle that lace, right.

But, It seems to be less detectable from what everyone is saying. It depends on you and your handleing. I am going to still order the ultra swiss lace unit.

I am a newbie about to order a LF with French lace.

What makes the lace more detectable?  I don't want to look like I have a piece of scab on my hairline.
