I think got some ppl think that just because you identify urself as being biracial your ignorant to social injustice and discrimination toward ppl of color. I dont see how those are one in the same. Kind of going off wonders example u can have a kid who has two black parents ignorant to social injustice and discrimination toward ppl of color.

I think it's like how people are upset when people try to claim anything but, black. Also if you look black and claim biracial people get mad like um you're dark you can't be biracial stuff like that.

if 18yr old zahara jolie.. wants to identify as white on applications
b/c
1. she doesn't have contact w/ her black family anymore
2. she was raised by whites.. and identifies w/ them more
3. she wants to do it as a tribute to her mama Angie.

should she be given that right?
i mean-- yall r all for ppl identifying with what they wanna identify with.

But shes not bi racial and Angie didnt birth her so its not the same but honestly I wouldnt care. Many blk folk still identifying themselves as being part native american....blue magic and water curl approved. Its whatever
