I don't care if a mixed person wishes to be considered biracial instead of black.....
But it's still not going to help them escape some form of racial discrimination for being not white.....
Being half white is still not going to give you full white privileges.

This is why I said what you said was "true but not true"
Personal opinion matters to you but it doesn't necessarily change the outcome of an entire group of people

Case in point, the lives of Black people

Why does recognizing that one of ur parents is white have to mean ur trying to get some form of  white privilege? Saying that yes I am biracial doesnt mean they trying to escape something ... they are simply correctly identifying themselves.

also, being a black millionaire doesn't stop one from experiencing discrimination and prejudice either...you can get followed in a store but your bank account still has 7+ figures.  a biracial kid is going to see reality just like everyone else who mistakenly believes a certain label or status will grant them privilege.  i could wrap this paragraph up in a way that mkes sense but you know what...i have a bowl packed and a cheesesteak waiting no me.
