That's what pisses me right off, too.  As early as 50 years ago, they wanted nothing to do with my biracial ancestors.  Now that that they are willingly making and acknowledging their half-black kids, NOW they want a special category for them to slip into. FOH.

as Ben Justice said the term biracial is disingenuous to history and those who don't see it to me are part of thiscolor blind coalition which is just another name for white guilt and an easy way to put a bandaid on the idea of white privilege.
