Those who categorized mixed ppl folk as blacks back then and this woman today are not same ppl. You cant determine any of that based on a paragraph where she clearly says she just wants it to be said that they are both b/w. Its not fair to use their ignorant ideology to dismiss her desires of simply wanting to be recognized as the mother of her own children.

Obama is mixed but identifies as black.... I respect his choice. If he wanted to identify himself as mixed Id respect that just the same but im sure many would "feel some sorta way about it"

Right . Kids can be cruel . Many will make sure her children remember the mother is White . I would have no problem if the option of biracial was a on a stand form , but like you said how can you make it fair ? We all are mixed with something after slavery in my op . Her children must really look black without any white features i guess . I am proud to be black . My way of thinking would never work as a white woman lol.

if she was that concerned.. she should have read some applications prior to popping kids out.
to see what options would be available to her child.
but i wont feel any kind of sorry for her.
