Fo-Ti, also known as Ho-Shou-Wu, has shown success for hair growth, shedding and also Alopecia.  Fo-Ti is a chinese herb, it is derived from the dried roots of a Japanese Evergreen called Polygonum Multiflorum.  Fo-Ti has been proven to have many benefits.  But, I will only focus, on the benefits of Fo-Ti as related to hair.

Fo-Ti supports hair regrowth, and it will restore hair to it's natutal colour, when used consistently. Fo-Ti nourishes the hair follicles, and also provides nourishment to hair.  Fo-Ti has been proven in clinical studies, to be valuable to hair health.  The results has varied among studies and individuals.  Over 60% of people who had hair loss (Alopecia), experienced hair regrowth within one to three months after taking Fo-Ti consistently.  Fo-Ti also thickens hair.  It is a rejuvenating herb, which is famous in certain regions of the world, for promoting healthy hair and skin.  Fo-Ti contains rich Phospholipids, and it is also contain multiple anti-oxidants.  Fo-Ti aids in the retention of hair, and it lessens the amount of hair that is shed.

Fo-Ti is beneficial for Alopecia.  Alopecia can arise from numerous causes, such as stress, Hypothyroidism, exposure to chemicals, therapies used for cancer, genetic male pattern baldness, tight braids, just to name a few.  Fo-Ti has been proven to reverse, patchy balding (Alopecia Areata), total loss of hair (Alopecia Totalis).  Alopecia Areata and Alpoecia Totalis frequently affect women.   Studies has shown great results, with hair growth in the affected area/areas within one to three months.

**This post is not intended to diagnose, treat, or cure.  It is provided, for information purposes only.  As always check with your physician, Fo-Ti is not to be used while pregnant, breast feeding.

I used to use this a long time ago.  But I had to stop because it was giving me weird headaches.  So if anyone is planning to use this, drink plenty of water and I mean plenty.
