Hi, this is my first time posting in this forum although I've been hovering for a little over 4 months now. I currently look like this:
I just cut my hair in January because It needed a change, plus so much of it was dead ends it wasn't even funny.  It's growing like crazy but I find that it's very DRY. It irritates me to no end.  I've tried hot oil treatments, deep conditioning, and I've even switched conditioners at least 4 times. I've been browsing alot so I'm sure I'll find something here that will eventually work.

But back to my current predicament, lol.  I was thinking of getting a sew in in a couple of months, probably after the summer because it's going to be extra hot. I saw this picture of Kelly Rowland with her curly fro and I absolutely loved it.  I was wondering what brand of hair/type/etc.. would I need for this?

I'm trying to do research for this now so I won't end up with another hair disaster like last year.

here's a couple of pictures:

Also, what would be best? I'm not sure if a sew in would do the trick or what.  I don't know what the hell a lace front is so I'm not even going that route, lol. Somebody please help!

Ladies: I want this hurr!
What kinda hurr is this? In the LF world, yaki cant hold a curl for jack. What kind of hair can yield this result? Id like the option of wearing these curls and also straight. http://crunktastical.blogspot.com/2007/03/kelly-rowland-trl.html View%20Post

DeeWhizz and Summer. How many wefts are you all odering for a full look? If I wanted my hair layerd, something like Kelly Rowland would this work 3 12"pc, 5 14" pc and 4"16 pc Summer have you installed you "B" curly ep hair yet?

Jade the NG wefts have a little bit less hair sewn on the weft than I am used to. I ordered 12 pieces, they sell the braz in pieces and recommend 12-14. I tried to go cheap, If I didn't have the EPnat curly closure I wouldve been short

Hi All, I am new to the board and have all natural hair. I have been researching this sight for a month now and love it. My question is what is the best type of curly to wavy weave I could get that would cover my whole head. I am going to Italy in May and wanted something different and easy to maintain. I am loving Kelly Rowland's 'do'. I don't want any of my hair left out and I live in SFL so if anyone knows of a good stylist that could hook it up. Let me know. Thank ya'll.... View%20Post

Well, I sealed the knots, then I sprayed some of the sally hansen's spray to give it more of a flesh color. I really didnt like the color spray (think I put to much) so I washed the closure to remove some of the color spray. The closure itself looks good. It just doesnt look good on my head to me. I was trying to avoid bangs and I thing that may be my problem. I gues I have to make bangs with it for it to look natural. I'm wondering what the heck Kelly Roland does? I am wearing wagman... For my summer hair I know that I want curls. I just do not know what type of curls and I am not sure that I will totally mind the type as long as they are a defined curl whether tight or loose. Miss L's post of her styles just made me realize that I can not make up mind and I figure whatever I get Ill be happy. I am currently on a hair hunt for a few curl patterns. Miss L's post about perming the hair is making me think. But I might be way too chicken to try it I might have to look through... View%20Post

Kelly Rowland - what hair does she use?

Hi cee.em.
I remember a while back that http://www.naturegirl.net
either posted something on their website or sent out an email saying that for those people that wanted to achieve the look of Kelly Rowland that their Brazillian 3c or 3b would best be able to achieve that look.
Also if you look for indian hair that is deep curly then you would be able to achieve that look as well depending on the curl pattern

Hi Amiebaby!

Everyone's looking for Kelly's curls!!!  It seems it boils down to a top three - Naturegirls 3C, Extensions Plus Natural Curly (you have to specifically ask for the type of curl you want or send a pic) and Bliss.

About your dry hair, the Hair Care side has a great explanation for different hair conditions and what to do about it.   Basically you need a moisturizing conditioner, plus a moisturizing hair creme and a sealing oil.  Conditioning and sleeping with a shower cap over your moisturized hair will help your hair dryness.

There are only a handful of conditioners/hair cremes that are truly moisturizing.   The girls over there discuss which is which, which are the best, etc.  The hair cremes I use are ORS Olive Oil or QP Mango Butter.  To seal I use either Pure Coconut Oil or Wild Growth Oil.   You'll get other great product recommendations over there.   There's a Crown and Glory method that they love over there - a lot of ladies have really grown their hair with it.

A diamond is merely a lump of coal that did well under pressure.
