Glad you've found something that works for you Original Diva. I'm a fan of procativ too...but I've switched to ProAce, it's a generic version that works just the same at a fraction of the cost.

Hey ladies,

Yay! Someone else that is a fan. I've read so much about how people have been dissappointed with their proactive. But I'm the opposite, I just love it. I've always had breakouts, blackheads and oily skin and some black marks from scarring to compliment everything else.

I've tried everything under the sun, and I even tried proactiv before now. But the last time I had it a couple years ago, I did not have the discipline to use the whole system properly, so i didn't see results -- I only used the face wash.

But I've decided to try again and have been diligent with it. I've been only using it for a month and my skin is clearing up so beautifully, not only that, the texture is smooth and looks healthy. It's even fading the black spots. I'm so excited. I've always wanted clear skin for once, and now I feel like there is hope. I'll continue to use it..I am confident my skin will be completely clear by the end of the summer...wish me luck

Yay for ProActiv

I read on a website that I can't remember that PRoAcne changed its name to Acne Free (makes sense to me...why would you want to PROmote Acne?...lol)

But either one can be found at Wal-Mart...if you can't find PRoAcne, look for AcneFree.

But personally, I love PRoActiv, and it's working so well, I'd be afraid to try a generic. But it may work...

Good luck

I've used both and there was no difference other than availability and price. You can get ProAcne/Acne Free at walmart or target.

I don't know...

I'd worry about the ingredients and how similar they are.

does the ProAcne toner contain glycolic acid?
(that's what I need, b/c it's working wonders on the spots...)

I started using ProActive again and have been using it for about two weeks now. I think my skin is starting to look alot better. The first time I used it I wasn't very consistent either.

is there anywhere online that sells either ProAce or Proactive for cheaper than the 39.95 ? That's a bit more than I'm used to paying. My Neutrogena usually only runs me less than $20 for my skincare regimen

I used ProActiv before.  I worked great.  I just hated that it stained my towels!!!!  Ugh!!!

I might try this Acne Free/ProAcne once my Mary Kay runs out...that stuff gets expensive.
