I haven't been using anything on the back. Since I'm off from work a few days I've been treating my neck and chilling out.
Diva577, was nice enough to mail me some glue so when that arrives I'll use it until my neck heals.
I just been praying that my edges in the back grow in. My family got good genes so maybe things will pull through. It's so sad because my hair has grown a lot since wearing lacefronts. More than a sewn in weave could ever do. I no longer have short stubby ends on the top of my head. I could wear a weave without those ugly tracks showing at the top because my hair is so thick and full now.
I just don't want anyone to go through what I did. It's really awful. Just be careful. I know how it feels when your wig doesn't stick right, and you get so desperate just for the sake of vanity. But trust me, you want your real hair. A wig is just a wig. They come and go.

OK when I tried to use the remover that come with this bond the only thing it did was fray my lace, caused me to loose a little skin and hair. My mom advised me to try acetone with a toothbrush because that's what's used in the hospital to remove electrodes when applied with medical glue. I purchased some acetone from Home Depot today applied it along perimeter with toothbrush and the unit came right off with no skin or hair lose or frayed lace. The lace had very little glue on it and the acetone made the glue resemble little thin flakes of paper. Prior to the acetone I was trying to pry it loose.
The thing about this bond is you have to use a teeny tiny bit which goes a loooong way. I use just a tiny bead of glue because more than that is toooo much, you definately do not apply it like UH and I would not recommend using it if your application is not on point you better know what your'e doing.
I have no doubt this bond could probably last at least 30 days. I like it, when used sparingly IMO it's very light I can barely tell it's there, not tight, no pinching unless you get the bond on your own hair then you will be miserable as hell and IMO it's not for first time users, because this bond does not allow mistakes, once it's laid its laid. I had no lifting at all while I was in Florida and not gooey at all. I willl continue to use and see what happen

That's true Kimmy, I also use endurobond and I havent had the issues that I hate some of you guyz have had. I only use it in the nape area which was a problem area for me (lifting). I use it with tape, and I apply it with a toothpick in a tiny line, because you only need a little. Since its in gel form, when you press it down it will spread underneath the tape, so hence the tiny amount with the toothpick! It's been holding good with no lifting, but the front I have to touch up moreso, especially here in Tx. I use acetone also and there is no damage to my lace, maybe because of the tape.

Exactly Mz Choice, I use it alone in the front and with tape on sides and nape.

This is my 3rd time using this glue, maybe I will try the whole perimeter the next application. Sxy I use the blue tape it always stuck really good to the lace, but not my skin, so it seemed like a way to put it to use! It doesnt shine as much as the proflex mini tabs I have, although they did stick better to my skin!

I live in California so I know it gets hot. I only use UH on my lf. I read in another thread about apply anti-prespirant to your forehead. It works, I don't sweat on my forehead and no goo line or slipage. I prep the hairline with alcohol, let dry, then I apply a thin coat of "certain dri" (roll on) on my hairline, let dry, then apply UH, let dry and attached the lace front. No problems so far. If you are going to try this make sure your skin isn't too sensitive to use "certain dri" roll on.

Well, that's just what I do. You may, like others find a different and more suitable way to do it that fits you! Kimmy sais the acetone when used on her lf, came out with no damage to the lace. But the thing is, you cannot rush the process of letting the acetone work! I'm not saying forever, but have patience, just as anything in vanity. LF, are a thing of vanity,if you choose to wear them there is no one method that works for all, but all wigs require a little time, and tlc!

Hellkat, do you think its the sweat that makes UH gooey, or the heat from the sun? I wanna go to a reggae fest outside and I'm wondering will certain dry be the trick!

I agree Mz. Choize you have to find a method that is suitable for you and DO NOT RUSH the process with the acetone or the glue, in order for me to achieve a natural appearance and in order for me not to damage my unit I take it sloooowly, very slooowly!

I live in Florida and absolutely love Endura-Bond. I had not shifting or lifting whatsoever. When it was time to take it off, I made sure I had enough time to just sit and do that (was watching a movie). It took about 30 minutes. I was very patient, no tugging or pulling. I saturated a Q-tip with aceton and rubbed it on top of lace until it came up easily.
When using the glue, it is imperative that you only use a little bit, best applied with a toothpick. I honestly think this is the answer for my summertime LF blues. I had been afraid I wouldn't be able to rock it in the summer time, now I can.

HairFetish---It took about 4 business days before my account was approved at true tape. There, it is $29.99. Unfortunately, I was impatient and got mine from CKhairsolutions for $39.99(overpriced IMO), bond and solvent. The solvent is acetone, which can be bought for much cheaper than what I paid for it.

Cottoncandysky,
I see what you mean about Ckhairsolutions being expensive, even UH is about $10.00 more than it is on coolpiece.
What is the website for coolpiece, I put in hairfetish.com and it went to a porn site.
