I love my LF, and they've become a huge part of my  haircare, I have alopeciaCry so I have very few options. So I'm wondering as the years go by, when I hit 50 ,60 years old ,will I be able to keep up my hair regimen Confusedthe application,  the up- keep,Confused. It's a scary thought for me,will I resort to wearing bob cut synthie's the not age appropriateShocked. just venting

Wear what you like, to whatever age you like. I will and if I want to polish my head like billiard ball then I'll do that too. Let them try to stop me!

Girl, I think about that too!  Everytime I take mine off, I pray I don't pass out or get a heart attack or stroke because I sure don't want to be caught without my lf LOL!  I plan to wear these as long as I still have dexterity in my fingers to apply my unit.  Hopefully by the time I'm 70, they'll be something a lot easier to apply or a cure for alopecia.

I really hope I'm not still trying to style in a lw at 75.. lmao.. if i have arthritis or something, how am i gonna apply a whole wig? use a flat stick to smooth the adhesive? shyyyyyt..

i hope i can maintain my natural hair when i'm that old.. if not.. then i'm in trouble.. unless i can afford the ones that are molded to your head and no glue needed..

^^^ me too!  I'm thinking about taking a break with a weave or a half wig that I will create (Ventilate and sew) for the colder months....but I'll never stop wearing these.  Don't you think that these units spoil us?  Especially aftr we get the technique down pat!  And Becky no way are u 54...you look fabulous!  Keep up the great work girlie!

I think when I hit 40 or 50 it is time to pack them up and move on. I think that time in my life I will get tired of them. I will also probaly be rocking my real hair.

Beck check that out!  #1)  As long as you have that sucker..you'll look good because your body is in natural balance; #2)  Sometimes doctors miss things...make sure that you are fully checked out..that FSH may not show other things going on #3) I'm probably worried for nothing.  We have so many additives in the air and soil, that natural body cycles are interrupted.  Dunno I truly believe the purer the food source, the longer and healthier and naturally you live!  Don't complain!  What ever goes with you works well!! You look dernnnn great!! NEver correct anybody with the real#LOLLOLLOL, unless they want u to endorse their anti-aging product!!LOLLOLLOL

AlabamaKim:  50s and 60s is not old these days.  If you still care about the way you look in your 50s and 60s you will take the effort to look good, and if looking good involves wearing a LF, you'll have the energy to work it!!!  I know I will - I'll be wearing them when I'm 90.

You are so right...people think something is wrong with me because we only eat all organic foods (about 95% of thetime) , vegetarian and most times low carb absorbant foods. But hey we dont look  in our 30's either. we are very observant about what we put in our body. But hey I am lucky I only started seeing aunt flow for about 3 years! so I guess  have nothing to complain about!!!

oh ...to answer the OP questonLOLLOLLOL
I think being old is only within the womans heart...you are young as you will allow yourself to be and well if you wear a LF then you will most likely look younger..juts my opinion...but I would like to start wearing my natural hair again in about 12 months! We shall say....hubby says I'm addicted!

i saw a thread saying when you get older you should wear long skirts.. not with my legs... i'll wear what i please, granted i won't be in mirco mini's b/c i try to represent with class, and I don't think that's appropriate, but as long a i'm fierce i'll rock whatever i want..

Ladydi, I'm with you. I don't consider myself old. I'm 56 years old too. I have No difficulty applying a lace wig. I think I do a fairly good job for an old lady. I can't imagine that things will change a lot in the next few years. It depends of the type on lifestyle you maintain at any age.

i might change the style i wear, but this is a blessing for me and i don't intend to give it up any time soon. and if i start getting too old and can't apply myself, i will have to make sure i arrange to have someone apply it for me since i don't have any daughters....only son's.

by the time we have to worry about it, who knows what will be available.
