Anybody know if you can buy the silk top material to sew onto your own lw? Is it a fabric that you can purchase somewhere?

well you could, just make sure your knots are bleached really well and find the right type of fabric, the silk top is so that it looks like the hair is growing out of scalp so the knots are usually hidden between or underneath the silk panel. I guess if you make your own it would be more like having a permanent scalp method just without the actual hidden knots

No, Dreagirl I'm not making a whole wig lol, I don't have skills like that.

I thought maybe it was a panel of material that i could just sew onto the underside of the lace. but since 2Angelz says that the silk panel is between, or underneath the knots, I guess you would have to make the wig from scratch, so that the silk could be included before you ventilate.

Pretty much so because what you would be doing...is no different than putting a wig cap, bandage, pantyhose, etc. underneath to give the illusion of the scalp. It wouldn't be an actual silk top because there is no injection.
