Its been awhile since I posted, but I had to throw this out there. A looong time ago Sexi told me that she used Nearly Natural on her hair & units (correct me if I'm wrong) and I just now got around to trying it.....

This ish is the bomb! I use the Silk Protein line w/the softening solution and you know how units can get dry (especially the lighter ones and y'all know I luv my blondes) and once you wash they don't "quite snap back 100%"...they do with this stuff! Wash, apply softening solution, condition, microwave, rinse, and air dry under fan.

Not that I ever doubted Sexi (who would) Wink, I really just forgot until I was ordering some more Davlyn.

Sexi does know her stuff. I purchased this stuff last year and still haven't tried it.  Now I'm going to have to go through my stash and give it a try.

LovilLocs: Its the best thing you'll ever do. I was kickin myself in the a$s this morning when my unit was dried for not trying this sooner. I went grabbed up all my old, ready for the graveyard units (due to tangles/dryness) and put them all through the "treatment".......talk about revitalizing!!!!

NeedTresses: My bad....yea I'll be a "pusher" on this one. After you try this you'll really be like Pookie from New Jack City..."they'll just keep calling you"Wink

it really does restore them, that's no joke i'm like 60  oz.. they need to make it in that weight so i can stock up.. b/c I want it all.. LOL

sharie sometimes it really doesn't need a bleach bath but it nees restoration, and sometimes a bleach bath with do that.. but its not necessary all the time.. Like i've got units over 4 years old that hair its challenged b/c its old hair.. it needs to be revitilized and sometimes if you don't have anything else, you bleach bath, but these products do that for you..

My new unit is dark blonde too and I'm getting ready to wear this, however I need to have all that is needed to condition it first. I was about to order NN earlier but... 8 oz bottles?Confused
How often do I need to do this treatment? Should I then pass up on any other conditioners but those Nearly Natural?

I use the NN spray that u put on before the conditioner, small blue bottle, works well, yet still getting tangles even after a bleach bath though.

What does the bottle look like and where can I purchase Nearly Natural products?  I want to get the right product.  I'll try searching the Internet in the mean time.

Thanks for the information.

I believe CLW carries part of the line as well..at least they used to
and they carry it at adventhair.com as well .

Here's their website as well, http://www.nearlynaturalhair.com/main.html
it lists the places you can buy the products so there ya go! Smile I too have been following the line for a while just never brought anything, I will definately try it out, I've been wanting to but forgot.

Sexi- do you use the protein or sulfate free line (shampoo/conditioner)  from Nearly Natural? The softening spray worked wonders on my last unit.
