Hey Fabulous....yes it already came with the bangs cut...I'll check into some michaels or other craft stores
Butta'scotch - yeah I think you are right...I'm gonna wait until after I apply to decide to thin it out...cuz I'm impressesed withwhat the flat iron did

When flat ironed the density looks great. If your going to keep it flat ironed I would just leave it, you don't wanna make it to thin. Take some pictures with it sitting on your head so we can see how it looks, it's still hard to tell. The front looks good it's hard to tell if the back is to thick.

Also, when you wash it let it dry on it's own overnight, if you dry it under a fan it will poof out more.

I would not thin it out. Im sure that when Bless designed the wig, she used her expertise to get the density right the first time. You dont want the wig to look sparse.
