Topic: Italian Yaki - UPDATE - The Wait is Over- Pics 6 Posted: 04 Nov 2009 at 4:59pm |
Ok...so I decided that I would try a Italian Yaki which was actually a gift to me...I've received it and it is a whole lot of hair ......I was advised by the vendor to flat it first before I let my stylist layer cut it....and Chocatly77 also advised me to get it thinned out....so tell me what you think...
the first 2 pics are of the back of the unit as it came out of the bag...not flat ironed
And these 2 pics are of the front of the unit after I flat ironed it...and it does definitely looks better to me now...What do you think?????
Please let me know your thoughts...as I do value your opinions

I think it looks beauitful after you flat ironed it. Looks like you won't have to thin it out by the picture.
I can't believe you strayed from your chinese light yaki!! I need to be more like you and try different textures. But I'm scuuuuuuuurd, LOL.
Anyway, it looks pretty to me, can't wait to see it on you.

ilovepink....actually the unit came this way...which was good for me...it also has a silk top...that I may have to color darker
MsLiberty --my Lf sista in crime ....girl how are you????...just trying it out to see if I like it...I must admit after I flat ironed...I was like...oh wow....before I wear it though I will be lifting the color to the brown family...as I think dark colors look too harsh on me

It looks nice flat ironed, what type of hair was it? I want that look but IA it looked huge before the iron, keep us updated on how often you have to flat iron to keep it maintained, I'm a low maintenance type of girl. I like the look but I don't have time to be straightening a unit every other day , but I know I want either IY or KS so please keep us (or at least me ) updated. I LOVE the look!

I know that Becky dyes her silktops by dipping it in strong black coffee. She swears by this method but I have never had a silktop, so I can't vouch for it.
The hair looks great btw. I also have an italian yaki which I haven't really worn because I still need to get it cut. But it is a whole lotta hair when you first pull it out of the bag. Who's the vendor on yours?
