My unit from Rex just came.. it's really pretty hair, very lengthy for a 16" but I HATE this, what I believe is thin skin, that is inside of the unit. He said this was the last CYL he had in stock, and I don't really have time to wait for a custom but this looks unnatural to me. As for the baby hairs, I could probably tweak those I guess but the thing that's bugging me now is this thin skin inside.

Can I see the thin skin?  That hair looks beautiful to me, girl.   Can you turn the cap inside out?

Oh Hell... the density looks to be on point too!  No big thick overly dense hairline!

The density is perfect and the hair is soft as butter, no sheen either. Just as I wanted. The inside of the unit is like this

I don't think it's thin skin, I must've gotten confused. I just need to bleach the knots and cut the lace. But I want to tweeze the hairline some to make it a more realistic shape.

That is NICE! Once you tweak the baby hairs and shape the hairline to your liking it will be gorgeous.

Girl, don't pluck too many because those will be the first to go anyway.
I would bleach the knots first cause it will look different after you do that.

I prefer mine without the stretch panel.  They lay flatter and hold your hair down better.   I don't really like stretch panels unless I'm not sure of the size of the head it's going on.

That is some beautiful looking hair right there. I like the poly strip at the nape because it acts like thin skin when applyinjg adhestive and tape. It sticks better.

LoL!

Thanks for sharing on the stretch panel. For some reason I thought it was good to allow for growth down the line but didn't realize that would effect the flatness. I have a template in route and need to adjust my order!
