Please tell me how Chinese Light Yaki operates.
How does the hair behave when washed? Does it stay straight or wave up?
Does this hair need to be flat-ironed? Does it get poofy?
How is it maintained? I want to keep mine looking nice!
TIA

Grant it I've only tried Indian and Chinese but out of the two Chinese is the most well behaved, no poofing at all.  I does stay straight and I never had the need to flat iron mine.

This is my second CLY but the first I took interest in ... I use doves volumnizing shampoo and conditioner for it.

Thanks BeanyBabygurl. They say CLY has a slight wave after washing? Does it vary from hair to hair since you said you never needed to flat iron yours. TIA

I would say it varies but not much ~ Chinese hair is naturally straight

I love CLY. It is very low maintenance. The units I have do not tangle, they dry straight and do not wave. I'm sure you will be very happy.

CLY is sooo wonderful. It's shiny without being overly shiny, nice and soft and luscious, and there are no terrible fly aways and tangles to deal with. I just wash with dove and condition with silicon mix and spritz every few days or so with a pantene/glycerin/water mix and it was super easy to deal with.

I have CLY wefts & a frontal. The hair texture is very nice. I never had any problems with poofing, tangling or anything of the sort. I'd just brush and go. When I wanted a bend/curls, I would break out the flat iron. The only thing is the curls don't last long. Maybe 2 days. Other than that it's great!
