NO they have NO FEEDBACK, they either sold one thing or brought one thing.. no pictures of the silk top, no other pictures period.. they tripping..I don't trust nobody on ebay no more.. those that use to be trust worthy no longer sell on there anymore..

no this is not, after having personal conv. with the seller, i told him what i was looking for, and he told me that he had a virgin that had never been chemically processed at all, that did have a silk top on a small cap, so i bought it

my goal is to look natural not, glamfabulous, i hate to have to cut such beautiful virgin hair but i'm willing to sell the hair to anyone who wants to create their own shoulder length unit.

i'm not familiar with this, my unit has a very smooth transition, once the lace front is against my skin theres no line, i just wear bangs cause it's easier for me.

why would you say that, i'm very satisfied with my baby, i just gotta get her cut, or maybe this is my first silk-top and to me, it looks perfect because it looks 100x better than regular swiss lace that reveals the grid with my baby, i cant see any grid, even after close inspection, no knots, nothing, i cant be happier

i don't understand what all the hoopla is about, why is this a discussion about whether or not the seller is reputable, i didn't start this post to ask about the seller, i was just trying to discuss how cool silk-tops are and how far we progressed from grids.
i'm happy with my wig, its in great shape, well constructed, its gorgeous. i'm not trying to get advice on whether the seller is reputable, i know he is whether anyone thinks so or not.

did you read the first page? A lot of the members felt there were things about the silk top that seemed suspect..
a lot of the time when an ebay seller has pics from other sites or models with the same "hair" as the hair they're selling, they are a scam..
some of the women who wear silk tops felt they could tell where the silk started.. not a good thing as u know.
this was more of a way to say to you" take heed, your purchase may be a bad one"..

lacegirladdict...sometiems you have to just read over comments...I do..it gets negative sometimes...BUT ...with that said..I think the comments started because they didnt want to see you get taken for your hard earned money...I think it was more of a caution..it just didnt come out that way..and sometiems things just come out negative around here..but from what i have read about most of the ladies who did comment they were just hopping you werent a newbie getting screwed for a crap wig...
now on the positive side..your unit has arrived and you love it..so just skip all the other rubbish and post some photos..I am dying to see it and so happy you are enjoying your new silk top. I dont have a problem with getting the grids to disappear but I still think the silk tops look more natual....IF IF IF ..YOU HAVE THE CORRECT COLOUR AND DENSITY!!
I just ordered my first custom silk top and should get it in two weeks!

Bleached knots to blonde. I use a beige pair of stockings from the chemist...but I use the thigh part of it...so it is a little sheer as well as snug ....dont need to sew anything either. I use my wig head to spray sally hansen tan spray onto the wig cap and let it dry for 3 mins. I dont spray much because then it will look orange...just enough so its not too sheer and has a golden colour.
I then put the wigcap on my head. I have a roll of WNST and cut a piece off and stick it to the cap where I plan to put the part. I have to put adhesive on the corners otherwise the tape wont stick to my cap. Peel off the backing paper and add a little of my makeup to the tape. I use MAC powder NC43 on the tape ...I think thats what it is...
Then I add my unit. I make sure I part my hair where the tape is but actaully its not really a big deal if its not exaclty because the majority will be on the tape. I hope this makes sense.
Another thing is make sure the unit fits correctly because if you are using a unit that is too big then you will see the grids more..my opinion as I have no proof of this..just seems that way to me.

So when someone is close to ur scalp, they can't see the grids? and I mean someone u know.. like ur hubby.. can he see ur grids?
i've had luck using some make up on a tape strip but those grids are still there.. smh.. I probably need to re-bleach the knots..

It might very well be the bleaching of the knots... I thought it was grids one time and I rebleached the knots.. you have to rememeber that its all about illusion..I mean its all about how it appers..because we know its still there but the reflection and colours against each other is what makes things not appear...so everything in shades and hues have to be correct to balance or subtract something... hope that makes sense. I dont believe anyone can see the knots when I sue this method. I mean my dentist was really tying hard to see it...and you know how close they are to you .... and hubby saids he cant tell anything..but then again he is very MANLY...(knows nothing about nothing to do with hair, nails or anything womanly)  I use a magnafying mirror inside and outside..I am vey very much a perfectionist...so I can say that you see nothing..the downside is that it is only in that section of the hair .. I just think it is such a hassle though..in my opinion..If I can get the silk top to work perfect I will stick with that. Then I can part and do whatever I want without worry about if it is flat enough o on teh tape or spaying ect ect... we shall see!
