I turn my lace wig inside out, apply 91 or 99% alcohol on the glue until it is soaked, place it in a pony tail, then place the unit in a plaastic caps where I tie it with a rubber band. I let it sit for an hour or so, then apply alcohol on it. I gently use a toothbrush to remove the Salon Pro glue, which never takes more than 5 minutes.
When I used ultra hold it took much longer. Vapon, Ms. Lola's, and Davilyn takes me about the same time to remove as the Salon Pro.

I use it alone sometimes. It holds alright.. I only wear my units a week at a time.. but noticed the glue boogers around day 4. also get some lifting when using it alone around day 3... I like to layer it with tape for longer hold.
I wouldn't recommend it for napes though. *shakes head* doesn't hold well.. and irritated my skin.

I would use it only for a daily hold if you don't like tape. It comes off easy with regular alcohol.

Just needed to add my two cents to this review. I know adhesive works different for everyone but for me this has been the best adhesive I have used in two and a half years.
I used this adhesive with proflex tape. I took my unit off after nine days and that was only because I needed to clean my scalp underneath. When I took it off my friend asked why because she thought it still looked good and secure.
I worked out at least 30-45 minutes and sometimes an hour every single day that I wore the unit with this adhesive and tape combo. I simply put on a head band and worked out. I sweat a lot and I had no lifting at all.
Clean up with this adhesive was a breeze. Used 99 percent alcohol and was good to go.
I am so happy this works so now I can get adhesive right here in town with no shipping costs.
prior to this I was happy with Davlyn Green and its every couple of days touch up needed self. I have used a lot of other adhesives as well so I really do think this is a winner.
It may not work for everyone but was great to me. Now I dont know what it will do in the summer but we will cross that bridge when we get there.

I had a bad experience with this glue. I used it with a unit on my way to a meeting the side lifted up. I had to pin down my wig for the meeting and it lookded crazy this was summer tough so maybe it was sweat or oil. I like ultra hold better a 2-3 weeks hold. Our bss only sells 30 sec and liquid tape. the 30 sec is better then the liquid tape though.

It smells too strong for me and scared to use it. I bought it from the BSS for about $8. I was in a last minute bind but I decided to use what I could from what I had in stock.

I actually use that glue and I love it!!! Ive tried the invisibond, mitty tighty, ultra hold and none are as good as the Salon Pro 30 Sec in my opinion. But again, it depends on your body chemistry

^^^^^ Love this stuff - only thing that will hold for me. Rather lazily I have had 2 weeks hold out of it.
