A friend suggested a hair growth product to me that is actually made for horses! I thought she was crazy at first but she actually convinced me to try it and OMG it works amazing! It's called Original M-T-G and I actually ordered it off of this horse supply website called FarmVet. Here's the link:
Original M-T-G
It's pretty cheap and you get a huge amount. Try it for a least a month or two and you will be amazed I promise! My hair grew almost 2 inches in a month!

Name Hi My name is Deja and I am a hair care addict. Age: 32 How long have you been doing hair care: All my life. Hair Type: 2b I think I have so many textures in one. Hair length and state e.g. relaxed etc: Had grown very long with relaxer but it was not thick enough for my tastes. I missed my natural hair and wanted to grow it out again. Luckily my hair grows like weeds. I cut it to about 1" long in June and its already about 3" long. Wearing weaves as a protective style. Hair Goals (outside of healthy hair ): Waist length hair and to resist the temptation to relax it when it gets to that awkward length. How you found BHM: On google looking for hair growth products. What you hope to learn by being here: I hope to be able to share some of what I know and learn how other women are succeeding in achieving their hair growth goals. Anything else you'd like us to know: Glycerin is my best friend. It makes managing my hair a breeze and I think the moisture it helps hold in my hair is aiding my growth.

I was in the mil for 6 yrs... and sme of the things i did while i was in basic training was a hair regimen and looking back i didnt even know it.... examples:
i washed my har every morning with conditioner and about once a week i would wash with shampoo and DC.
I would alwasy "seal" my hair with castor oil.... my mom raised us up on CO. lol...
In uniform I wore a bun everyday not knowing this was a protective style
After basic training and being away for a year i came home and went out to a party... before i went i had to let my hair down... in a little under a year (11 months) my hair had grown tremendously... i never measured bc i knew nothing of this lifestyle... but i made a mental note that when i dont mess with my hair it grows like weeds... the chics in basic would call me white girl (on the low) bc i washed my hair everyday... i only did it bc we were so sweaty everyday...they said it wasnt healthy for black women to wash their hair everyday...
i just want to learn alot about hair and be able to keep up with a regimen that isnt so tedious... im a pre med student so my classes are killing me plus im studying for the mcat... and so on and so forth... i just want long thick healthy hair... on the flip side... if it turns out that i do need to take on a tedious regimen then so be it....
right now im currently searching through these threads looking for tips on starting a new regi and if i should do weaves/sew ins or if i should get a lace front....
Wish list :
I would love to do protective styles and i only like the bun look... but after yrs of being opressed i want to let my hair down and rock my stilettos everyday!!! so thats why im looking more to weaves and wigs and hiding my hair...
I want to be take some vitamins that really make my hair stronger. My hair is really healthy now bc i dont really use heat alot. So my plan is for these next three months to do tons of research and by jan 1 decide what im going to do. Weaves/PS/Wigs... sorry its so long... i love BHM and LHCF
