From the age of 7 i have been goin to dominican salons. But now that im living in the netherlands my hair seemed to miss them because it broke right off, but it seems to be back on track now. So ladies take my word for it, THESE PRODUCTS WONT DISSAPOINT!!!!!!!!!!! |
Mimi,
I'm just curious, what took you to the Netherlands and were you able to find someone to do your hair or do you do it yourself?

Well im in the netherlands for school, and when i just arrived here i didnt pay much attention to my hair. The reason i didnt was because in st. martin it was easy to be in the salon every week. You could get a wash, set, and blowout or whatever for $10. (the domincan salons are not expensive). So u could say my hair was taken care of without me lifting a finger. It was healthy and i always thought i had great hair since it never broke or anything. But now that im up here everything is much much more expensive, so i was new and didnt know any hairsalons so my hair was just goin into depression i guess. Until it really really got out of control up until last month. Then i really took charge i found a hair dresser who was ACTUALLY FROM ST. MARTIN TOOOO. And she basically hooked me up with a cut and i joined this forum and got the best advice ever!!!!!!! I also went product shopping! One strand hasnt come out ever since!!!!

Hi guys. I've been looking for Dominican Republic products for the past few days and I've a few more websites that you can buy from besides shopdr.com (although I like that one a lot). The others are: http://www.ethnicsoul.com/index.shtml and http://store.sickbay.biz/index.html I hope these help some people out. They offer more brands than shopdr.com.

For those of you asking me about the Brazilian conditoners you can go to the sickbay website. They sell is there look under Beauty and go to the IGL products.

That seven wonders cream by charlot from http://store.sickbay.biz/sewocr16oz.html sounds very promising. Has anybody had any experience with this product? It is also made in the DR.

Sounds very interesting? Would you suggest using a heating cap with this?

Pretty, although I've never used this cream I personally would use a heating cap just because it seems like it would work really well as a deep condition and I like using heating caps for my deep conditions. Do you happen to know of anyone that's used the seven wonders cream before?

No, I just found out about it this evening. I am definately going to purchase it on Friday. You can't beat the prices that they are offering it for.

I have some here, along with all the Dominican Line. I went crazy a few months ago and ordered a lot of stuff from there. It is very good but strong. I used it on my daughter's hair a few times and her scalp and neck turned very red. When I use it on myself I love the effects. Your scalp feels really tingly from the cinnamon, so if you have a super sensitive scalp, dont use it.
