Asianiis, I found a few youtube video that explains the first stitch very well. I'll post them or pm them to you shortly.
How can this be, life is so good to me.

jamara and asianiis...you both have inspired me. i'm doing my next install. it's a fact. and ditto what someone said before: if i don't like it, the only thing i lost was a few hours, not a few hundred dollars! i'll be on youtube looking around as well.

Wow that's a really good idea. This was always an issue for me too.

I think the hardest part of doing an install is the braiding. I'm going to do my own next time and twist the hair using a bit of gel as I am no good at corn rows lol! The last time I tried to do it I spent 4 hrs braiding.

What about sewing technique is there a special way you should sew? How do you start a row and how do you end it? and what about folding the weft and not cutting it, how do you do that?
lol sooooo many questions :)

I wish I had the patience.  I can't even braid. I have had someone else braid it and than I did the sew in.  But it took so long that I have even stopped that.

I just did my first self install it's my first weave in almost 4 years as I have been wearing LF's .

I used a net and corn-rowed my hair straight back leaving out the perimeter and horseshoe.

I used one pack of BoBraz I will post pics in the BoBraz thread. I'm 4b natural and i'm having some issues making sure the tracks are covered when the wind blows etc lol not sure that to do about that
