 Topic: custom wig is too big!!!! UPDATED WITH PICS

Has anyone had to address this with a CV before? My custom order, silk top KS-Chinese/is too big. It's about 24.5 cir, which is a full inch larger than it needs to be. All of the other measurements are off by an inch or so which makes the entire wig TOO BIG. I've written the vendor and her first response was that it was made to order based on measurements.
This is about my 7th or 8th wig from her and the first time I've had this problem with her wigs. I've written her again with the actual measurements of the wig. No response yet.
Any other suggestions????
(please, No surgery though, I've done it before when it was MY mistake. I don't want to operate on a custom unit.)

here is most recent reply from the CV:
"No dear, my workers never do the wrong size for custom orders , they won't do a 24.5" cir if it is a 23.5" cir because it will cost more ."
and yes she is on the "approved" list.

That's the beauty of standard measurements- they don't lie and they speak every language  Let her know you are sending it back. Include a tape measure.

What method of payment did you use? I would tell her that you re-measured it and it is not the correct size. Maybe you need to also remind her that you have purchased several units from her in the past with the exact same measurements and they fit perfectly. I then would ask her how she wants to rectify the situation since you cannot wear the wig.

The sad thing is that these CV mass produce these units at such high volumes, so instead of them correcting the problem, they just make excuses for their human error… like it was totally impossible to measure wrong..

she hasn't responded since last night, so there is no update tonight thus far.
I did remind her that I have purchased 7 or 8 wigs from her and they all fit with no problem.
I haven't cut the lace either....learned that early, early on. I am very disappointed that she, so far, is not eager to fix the problem. I'm sure once she sees the wig, there's no way she will continue to say "her workers never do the wrong size". .
I used Western Union, she only accepts WU.

Updates to follow........
(I hate to have to wait another month for a replacement, especially since this one took almost two months to make, but even though the wig is beautiful, it's still too big)
