I was just wondering how long you used it. I think for some people like myself the growth does not kick in right away. I using it for awhile before I saw any real growth. I know some people are getting growth after bout 2 weeks, but for me it didnt happen that way.

ive recently swopped my mtg for mt and im 2 days into using the mt. i reaaaaaallly want it to work

but then again i do remeber when the mtg came out and i remember people saying that didn't work. But it worked wonders for me.

MeowandPurr did you check your ng, or just the length?
!!! u swapped your MTG for MT ... noo girl get back on that MTG ball !

yea girl, mtg/sulu is definitely the truth, just greasy. i think im gonna go back to it this winter though its easier to maintain when heat isnt frying your scalp lol. plus i need to finish up my bottle of megatek

im starting back mine mid October when it should be getting cooler here. Im trying to use up my Surge by the end of this year , so im mixing it with MT to see what results i get

i'm starting to think that MT doesn't work either.....i don't have CRAZY growth....i don't really notice any difference....

hmmmmm.....I wonder what would happen if i drained all the cade oil out from my MTG and then mixed the powder left over in my MT.....u think that would be a bad idea?

Hmm I've had my hair in a sew-in for the last month but before that I used Mega Tek for a month and saw no results, definitely not the amazing week long results everyone else seemed to have. My bottle is almost finished and I must say, when it is, I will not be buying another bottle. For $42 it was simply not worth it (I live in Canada and I bought it at the store, it was still $42 even without any shipping at all). I just ordered Claudie's elixir and moisturizing hair lotion today, I'm hoping to see satisfying results. I will also be adding Biotin to my regime.

I guess Mega Tek just doesn't work for everybody.

Yes. Same thing happened to me and several others. I added Castor oil and it went away. I added olive oil to another batch- no more itchies.

I have all kinds of stuff added to mine. I just used it on my scalp only to DC and it had my scalp literally feeling like something was digging in it. It got a little tingly then warm. I took advantage of it and massaged it in for about 5 minutes. I am back to using it. I was off of it for almost 2 months now. I am going to see if my hair gets bigger.

So would you ladies so that mtg provides better results than mt. I have 5 days worth of mtg left (I'm so upset)

right I've oredered it. My 2nd 32oz bottle in 2 and half months. No wonder I have all this growth lol.

Right - from now on I'm sticking with mtg and I'm not trying any other growth aids. But I'll still use my mt on my nape area. I'll see if it can do anything there

edited for spelling.

Off topic but...

Has anyone else noticed that Aphogee products have tons of alcohol and mineral oil them?  (especially the two minute reconstructor).  I don't see how this can be good for your hair.

I haven't looked at Aphogee but I have noticed 'black list" ingredients in other rave products such as Nexxus Humanicant(sp)?

I ALWAYS get results with my MTG.. It gets me to my goals in a short space of time. But I stop to try something else .. or i just dont feel like smelling like sulphur all year around ... I would love to use it now , but i only use it when i put my hair in cornrows and that will be after October 4/5th. So whenever my functions are done with .. cornrows and MTG and im hoping for three inches by the end of the year

The alcohols used in Aphogee products, is nothing to be concerned about.  They are the good, fatty alcohols.

I'm officially jumping off the MT band wagon. It sounded like such a miracle worker in the beginning. Now, after a few months of use I realize it's just one more product for me to spend money on unnecessarily. Not to mention, it's another thing for me to forget to do. I do have some ridiculous hair goals but I am going back to keeping it simple to reach them. There's nothing wrong with MT though, I just wasn't willing to give a dedicated effort towards using it. Good thing I only bought the 2 oz. size. lol

ahh...okay, good to know.  I was about to through mine away (or at least shove it in the back of the drawer Wink).   What about the mineral oil?  Does that do damage?
