bullet Topic: I’m Ready to Try Affirm and Questions!!
    Posted: 16 Oct 2004 at 1:00pm

My sister has been doing my perms for the last 2 years and she's doing a great job.  I've been using Dark and Lovely and lately after 3 washes it looks like I need a perm.

I want to try Affirm, went to the links you guys posted to purchase and I'm confuse.

Since a non-proffesional will be applying my perm, what to purchase?  Does Affirm comes in a box with everything you need to apply the relaxer or do they have to be individually purchase?

Really need help purchasing this product from the people who have home apply this relaxer.

I too would love to try this relaxer.  Just like you Victory1 I have been using Dark and Lovely for a while now and am looking for a change.

I have heard such good things about the Affirm product and I was wondering if anyone living the L.A. Area could tell me where I could find this product?  I've searched high and low

Yeah.  I'm very intrested in this Product Affirm as well.  Darkn-Lovley does the trick, but I've heard so much about the product, I'd like to try it.

Does anybody know the difference between :

Affirm Sensitive Scalp Relaxer 9 Pack and

Affirm Sensitive Scalp Relaxer Kit   ?

I mean: what does it contain in one and what does it contain in the other?

the 9 pak , comes with just activactor and protector ?

the kit comes with shampoo? wich one?

Do I have to get the normalizing shampoo or the kit provides?

I called them but I didn't undetstand very well

Cuz I wanna purchaise it as soon as possible, but I live very far from USA and need to be sure about what I am getting to avoid getting many things all the time and paying shipping , (expensive shipping by the way), all the time.

Hi! ill do my best to answer your questions!

I got the Affirm Sensitive Scalp 9 pack. The kit only has 4 relaxers, certainly not worth my money! My nine pack contains the Protecto and activator, and finally the 9 relaxers. Please let me know if I can answer anymore questions for ya!

[/QUOTE] THANKS FOR HELPING

I HAVE ONE MORE QUESTION:

THE SHELDEEZ WEBSITE DOESN'T SHOW ANY POSSIBILITIES FOR THE STRENGTH. IT IS NOT POSSIBLE TO CHOOSE BETWEEN :NORMAL, MILD AND RESISTANT. HOW CAN I PURCHASE WITHOUT THIS INFORMATION?

DO THEY HAVE JUST ONE STRENGHT AVAIBLE? WICH ONE?

HOW R YOUR 9 RELAXERS?

WICH STRENGHT IS IN YOU 9PACK CHOICE?

CUZ IT WOULD BE MUCH BETTER AND CHEAPER TO GET THE 9 PACK INSTEAD OF THE KIT  CUZ IT COMES WITH MORE THAN THE DOUBLE (9 INSTEAD OF 4) AND COSTS JUST 4 DOLLARS MORE.

BUT I NEED TO KNOW THE STRENGHT AND MINE IS THE RESISTANT!

AH! DID U GET THE NORMALIZING SHAMPOO AS WELL? IS IT SO IMPORTANT? THE WOMAN AT SHELDEEZ  TOLD ME THAT I SHOULD GET IT . SHE SAI THAT THIS SHAMPOO INSURES THAT JUST-RELAXED HAIR RETURNED TO THE NORMAL pH RANGE , AS IT IS WRITTEN ON THE PAGE.

IS IT TRUE?

IF U CAN RESPOND ME, THANKS VERY MUCH AGAIN.
