You can go to websites of beauty salons that do braids and look at their photo gallery. Here are a few I had bookmarked:

http://www.fatoubraiding.com/index.htm

http://www.africanbraids.com/

You can do a search for African Braiding shops and look at their albums or if all fails, there's always Google. You can put in the name of the style and search the images.
