I just got done reading a borderline ratchet book, and the ending really left me shaking my head and wondering.
In the book, Valerie and Raven are friends. The book opens with Raven telling Valerie that she has been secretly dating Valerie's son, and is now pregnant by him and engaged.
Understandably, Valerie feels betrayed but she decides to get her revenge by going after Raven's father. Valerie and Raven's father end up actually falling in love as well.
The two women beef for a while, but come together when Raven's father needs a kidney transplant and Valerie's son gives him the kidney he needs. Sounds good...right?
Wait a minute tho...Valerie's son cheats on Raven with his baby mama. The baby mama comes to put him on blast, but Raven tells her she doesn't wanna hear anything bad she has to say and that she is gonna stay with him forever because he gave her father the kidney he needed to survive.
They kick baby mama out and every one lives "happily ever after".
So BHM women...is your SO automatically forgiven of all wrong doing if he donated an organ to one of your loved ones?
What say you?!

no. not automatically. and how do i know that they won't use that in the future against me? like "I gave your father a kidney so basically you owe me" kind of thing
its not really the same, but i remember feeling bad for george lopez's wife...she gave him a kidney (i think) and he ended up cheating on her after the fact. they divorced.

It was so crazy to me.
He cheated before he gave her dad the kidney, so I'm guessing he did it partly out of guilt.

Its called Turnabout Is Fair Play, and I got it thru the Kindle app on my phone for free. It was just okay...I don't know if I would recommend it. @LB- I'm still deciding lol.
