Diasy,

I had this issue but with the opposite effect; my hairline had a white line.  The constant application of solvents, rubbing with alcohol, tapes, glues off and on made my brown skin turn very light.  once I stopped it eventually went back to my natural skin color.

Yeah, I have the reverse tan issue.  My skin isn't dry but my hairline is noticeably lighter - but it hasn't gotten much sun lately, so that's to be expected Embarrassed

It's cool, I'm the only one who sees it anyway!

I had problems with Supertape, it makes  my skin itch like crazy and it left me with a dark areas on my forehead.

well i'm already bright!! but i went to miami and got a tan, and guess what it tanned thru my lace onto that area and now its all one color again.. its not my color but at least its all the same color.. so i think after seeing that, its not all bad.. lol at least it let's me know that its not getting the proper venilation, if it can tan thru on that area.. it must also be lack of sun in that area as well..

Sometimes the skin gets chapped from the removers and alcohol.  You can try a Vitamin A & E ointment to bring  back some of the vitamins and moisture you lost.

also make certain that you clean and mosturize the area as well as allow it to breathe.  this can lead up to the condition that I posted about with the dry skin around my edges.

My forehead where I place my LF is waaay light as well, skin condition is fine, so I assume it is for lack of sunlight.

I would worry however if the skin was thickened and chapped or sensitive to touch.

Just a note, alcohol over prolonged periods defats the skin and robs it of it's natural oils that keep the skin supple, so as Charmed said, moisturize and give that area a few hours to just breathe when you can.
