if you want something that is a little more permenant, i discovered this by accident. i was using bentonite clay and mixed it with amla oil. left it on my hair for a 10 minutes. my hair came out really curly even my 4b type came out 4a and my 4a came out 3c/3b! HTH

warning the clay smells, but once you wash it out it a few times it shouldn't smell!

I've never heard of bentonite clay before. That sounds cool Romeo.

The best part is that it isn't permanent.

Cantu Shea Butter Repair cream (or whatever the name is called). It works on wet or dry hair, but it leaves the hair softer when done on wet hair.

I use whatever conditioner I have or Cantu Shea Butter leave-in conditioning repair cream. I apply in sections on wet hair and let me hair drip dry. Eco-styler gel works too but I'm not  fond of gels. It give great definitinon and the hold is not hard but I like my hair v.soft so it's a no no for me

I use Cantu Shea Butter Repair Leave in too but....have you ever noticed after it dries it stinks!? It smells great wet but when it dries my cousin and I noticed this not so pleasant smell. I wont even say what we both think it smells like but we just burst out laughing! I still use it but I use ORS olive oil on top of it.

I combed some aloe gel through my sisters hair and it defined curls I didn't know she had.  I've also tried it on my new growth when I want to show off my waves.  It doesn't get hard crunchy or flaky.

Z, I love the makeup in you new signature...and you look JUST like your dad.Smile
