I'm new too, although not new to being natural. I love the information here, as I never really sat down and created a regime for myself this gives me somewhere to try and start. I feel like my hair is finally growing back, but I've been having problems with my edges lately, mostly due to previous bad treatment and possibly meds not too sure. I know I have alot of reading to do on here, but does anyone have any quick suggestions on what to do for that?

Massage castor oil on your edges daily. Stop brushing, pulling or tightly braiding your edges. Low manipulation is required to see results. In 14 to 30 days your edges should fill back in, provided that you do not have permanent root damage. Blessings!!!!!!!!!

Super information to have! I appreciate moisture being talked about. so many women have no idea that moisturizing should be done daily, especially if hair is already dry from day to day. I have found that oil applications after my washes seem to lock in more moisture. I found some other great tips in this blog: http://www.exoticallure.com/black-hair-tips/Moisturize-Hair-for-Fast-Black-Hair-Growth.htm
