For the girls that want big hips

  I know - that's taboo to say it, but it's a reality. Being morbidly obese is NOT okay just because you're able to laugh and smile through the day.

I don't get how being honest and speaking an opinion that may not be popular = condescension. Especially when what I'm saying isn't anything that can't be read in the JAMA or supported by the AMA. Sure, you can laugh and smile and have great days and bad days like anyone else. But morbid obesity = a limitation to a quality of life.

Please note QUALITY of life is not the same as HAPPINESS as happiness is subjective. Quality of life is something that is far more concrete. That's what I spoke to, not whether an obese person wakes up in a good mood every day.

Yet, some of the same ppl teehee'ing at this woman were the first ones to say "don't talk about fat ppl not being able to be happy". If you don't see the hypocrisy in that, then so be it - but it doesn't change the fact that it's there.
