So...only when there's an actual pic attached that we can all heckle? Otherwise if it's "hypothetical" ppl shouldn't be honest.

Who said it isn't okay for her to be big and happy?
And there is a difference between thinking it's not okay and thinking it's virtually impossible.

This has nothing to do with the other thread, it's a non comparison. What you are saying has nothing to do with either thread premise. The other thread is about being fat and happy. You were arguing that you can't be unhealthy and happy (or it's rare). That is not true. And your posts seem to indicate that if a fat person says they are happy, they are lying. Then you lumped all fat people together pretty much, with the buying 2 seats...etc.

She is fat and happy. The arguments in that thread against you, argue that you can be fat and happy. This thread is a receipt.

You can try to marry the idea that health = happiness, with hypotheticals, hyperboles, and what-have-you,  but you can stand behind those that believe heatlh = wealth.

Some chicks have hips but when they turn to the side there's no booty.

I'm guessing you meant "I can't stand behind those that believe health = wealth.

Health is a form of wealth actually. Not to hijack this thread, but I've always been speaking about those who are grossly obese. Someone who's slightly heavy may not be experiencing the same health issues as those who are grossly overweight. Morbid obesity contributes to a number of health issues. Having to be tied to medications because of medical conditions which are directly effected by weight is a reduction on your quality of life. Being forced to walk through a door sideways because your hip circumference is so large is NOT a quality of life that the average person would aspire to. Having to sleep on a bed that's 8 ft wide because your hips are so wide is equally crazy. (note the last two are things this woman listed in the OP has openly admitted to).

If you can't travel because of weight, that's no different than the person who can't travel because of a fear of flying or bridges, being underground etc. Would you argue that the person with phobias is 100% happy and has a great quality of life? Probably not. That's the point I'm making. I know - that's taboo to say it, but it's a reality. Being morbidly obese is NOT okay just because you're able to laugh and smile through the day.

I don't get how being honest and speaking an opinion that may not be popular = condescension. Especially when what I'm saying isn't anything that can't be read in the JAMA or supported by the AMA. Sure, you can laugh and smile and have great days and bad days like anyone else. But morbid obesity = a limitation to a quality of life.

Please note QUALITY of life is not the same as HAPPINESS as happiness is subjective. Quality of life is something that is far more concrete. That's what I spoke to, not whether an obese person wakes up in a good mood every day.

Yet, some of the same ppl teehee'ing at this woman were the first ones to say "don't talk about fat ppl not being able to be happy". If you don't see the hypocrisy in that, then so be it - but it doesn't change the fact that it's there.
