Oh my... *sighs* I hope this doesnt turn into another Arjungle gag order
situation. The reason this forum exists is so that women can speak
FREELY about anything pertaining to weaves, the good bad ugly, what they
find ridiculous etc

Good. I hope it was brought to your attention that we were discussing the obscene prices you charge for work that doesn't even justify the prices you charge...and the fact that you compare your payment plans to those of QVC.

I swear who are these people playing run and tell dat??? If your clients can't afford to travel to nc to receive your services Then I doubt they can afford a $975 install. From the sounds of this thread there isn't anything that could be said to justify that price TO ME besides your own narcissism. Real celebrities don't hop into every blog or forum that discusses them.

The only "celebs" I recognized were "the Williams family"...I think...I mean if we mean the sisters (you should have said that if that's what you meant).
Having a long list of famous nobodies to try and impress potential clients is NOT the business.
It's fukkery. Pure fukkery is what it is.

Thank you Kami612 . I wonder about this same thing. I'm not going to knock anyone's hustle so no shade on my part, but I don't understand this expensive travel fee either.

She is very smart by exiting this conversation thread quickly. She must've lurked a few epic threads and gracefully bowed and twirled outta the thread.

^Homegirl bowed out with a snap and a twirl honey. I wish I could say that she's gone with the wind fabulous but from the work I've seen well....
But you didn't hear that from me. I'm not one to gossip.

All i know is that if you are booked up until fall, why do you have time to gallavant around the country to do hair? Shouldnt you be dedicating your precious time to ppl in your home state and doing their hair???? Sounds like youre more $$$ hungry and narcassistic than customer service oriented and true businesswoman.

blkbuttafly. I like you. I STILL can't get over this $1,000 for a single weave. Why not charge your normal prices and tack on traveling expenses to that for a group of 5 or 10? At the very least I could kinda-sorta understand that. $1,000 is nearly 3 years worth of weave for me! LOL!
