I don't understand the, "no edges out" styles with weaves or braids girl.
 
You can use the same pattern but leave you edges out or maybe like a 1/2 in-1 inch of your perimeter out so you can also wear it back off your face or in a ponytail.

Yeah, my edges would be snap/crackle/popped after that!!! 
 
My preferred closure pattern is similar (but better of course).  I have the beehive pattern with the area where the closure is placed braided separately so the closure lays flatter.  I believe a smidge of hair in front of the closure makes it more natural in MOST cases.
