lol what if you believe in God, but get to the gates of heaven, and it was the Jehovas Witness God that was the right one. Then you still get sent to hell for praising God on Christmas and them other holidays.

to you. | oh ok Rumbera just asked a similar question
I see what you're saying but I dont feel like I've been scared into believing.
There might be those that do feel like I have to do this so I won't burn in hell.
I don't think like that.
God has done enough in my life for me to believe He exists. Just like I said even if there is no heaven and hell I would still keep my faith.

I heard something similar to this a long time ago.
I love the way the man worded it. Would you rather gamble living your life believing that there is no God, only for you to die and find out there is after its too late to repent and receive salvation?
Or live your life believing that there is a God, and find out that there isn't one. |
This premise is skewed. It assumes that atheist = amoral. It's possible to follow many of the bible's concepts (don't lie, don't steal, honor your mother and father, do unto others) and not actually believe in God. Not to mention, that it takes a LOT more than just belief in God to heaven.

IA. Some posts in thread are making me have to bite my lip to stop from laughing. Darn BHM comedians.

Hopefully this isn't too intrusive..What would the purpose of your religion be if heaven or hell didn't exist?

neka I would say she's correct in what she believes because when you boil it all down the ONLY "sin" that is actually unforgivable is denying the existence of god. That said IF that is true a murderer or rapist has a better chance of going to heaven (with repentance) than a highly moral atheist. I'm pretty much doomed .
