I got it really really bad the week after thanksgiving. I don't really take medicine.I had a lot of raw veggie and raw fruit smoothies. I only took NyQuil if I had a hard time going to bed.

Just getting over a bad cold. I didnt know Theraflu had been pulled off the market, went to 5 pharmacies hunting for some last weekend  . It's the only thing that works for my colds and flus even though it gives me very vivid and highly disturbed dreams

had the flu shot against my will (work required)
a month later, i got a bad cold (still have a raspy cough)
took nyquil, mucinex, dayquil, slept a lot
went to work anyway, spread the love around, ya know?
exposure builds the immune system

it does! lol. I have a box of that, but that sipping is  I went to work on nyquil when i ran out of dayquil. probably not a smart idea.

I got sick for the first time this year. I rarely get sick, but for some reason this time I got really sick. I haven't been able to take many medications because of sensitivities to different ingredients, so I've been trying to rest.

I havent been sick in 3 years. I just caught it yesterday from my dad, he sneezes loud and big and doesnt cover his mouth.

Everytime I feel a bit blah, I drink some orange flavored alka-seltzer. It's the nastiest sh*t on the planet but I havent gotten sick, despite the intense sleep deprivation I went through during finals.

weird thing, i get sick every other year or so.. but what i do is stock up on 100% oj (walmart has a gallon of it..its off brand though but goooood)and childens liquid flu..stuff (cant think of the name ) i keep drinking, dont give myself a chance to get sick, cause if i do...my kids on their own. thank goodness my mom lives down the street. also get a humidifier. it helps.

I am sitting here with a massive sinus infection as I type. I tried the home remedy route but I wasnt getting much relief, so I had to get a prescription. It sucks, but now since the antibiotic's started doing its thing, I feel much better.
