I need to detox badly! I want to lose some of these lbs I've picked up but it's so hard as I am not motivated and I am not where I used to be. A lot of this is my fault but what can I do to break the monotony and gain momentum to get back to a healthy lifestyle? I recently moved and I have fallen into some bad habits. I dont sleep much, I smoke, I drinking a little more, I'm overeating and not exercising or even doing the normal things I used to do. Compare me to about 6 mo.-1 year ago I was maintaining myself physically and doing well. How can I get back? They say the 1st step is the hardest or the longest..

I know exactly how you feel. Sometimes you have to "make yourself" do thing in order to make them habits. Like telling yourself "ok your not happy where you're at..... but you don't want to go to the gym?" And usually my butt gets up and hits the gym. LOL
Try setting small goals and as you achieve them you'll get an amazing boost and getting healthy won't feel like such a task. Good Luck!

Start off slow and work your way up. Start by gradually increasing your water intake, and limiting the amount of junk you consume. Then later add in your work out routine.

def start off slow.  cut out the drinking and smoking asap.  that is making you feel worse.  then start walking everyday.  once you get used to that, you will want to work out more and eat healthier!

I agree with the other ladies. Start off walking. Also try doing some strength training using small weights that are 3-5 pounds and start drinking more water.
